Who We Are
Sonali Mehta
Co-founder
Sonali began her volunteering journey with the Special Olympics in the sixth grade. Ever since then, she's been working with different types of people. In 2012, she co-founded Blooms of Life, a non-profit for residents in elderly care homes. She has found her true volunteering passion in tutoring underprivileged children, providing an equal playing field for them academically and contributing to their potential for a better future.
Sonali has a BA in Cognitive Science from University to Pennsylvania.
Anika Mehta
Co-founder
Anika has been volunteering for over a decade with mental illness patients. She started and ran a dance therapy class for emergency psychiatric patients in New York City, and she currently helps at a school for children with Cerebral Palsy. She wants each volunteer to experience The Moment: the moment when volunteers understand how powerful their work is, and when volunteering turns from something that they have to do into something that they want to do.
Anika has a BA in Neuroscience from Barnard College.
College Organizers
We have wonderful student organizers who run The Kuch Karo Project at their colleges!
